Yep, A House Means Yard Maintenance!!!

Luckily, I can say, most of that falls on Justin.

The neighbor decided to try to cut down a tree, and it ended up in our yard.

Justin with a chainsaw - scary!!

Ok, so the story with the frog is: One evening we had a really bad thunderstorm - tornados and all (almost felt like I was back at home). When I went to shut the blinds on the sliding porch door, I see this frog, just stuck to the glass hanging out. I think he was watching the American Idol season finale with me. Needless to say, all traces of him were gone (except the slime trail from where he slid down the glass). Just another one of our critters that comes to visit!!

What a week!!!

We went to jacksonville, Florida for Memorial weekend. Justin had gotten us a room right off of the ocean. It was so awesome. My first trip to the ocean. We went to the Jacksonville zoo on sunday, and spent a lot of time hanging out on the beach. Finally got in and swam on Monday. I was really proud of me. I drove all the way there on Saturday. Justin had worked all night and wanted to sleep. This involved me driving through downtown Atlanta, Macon, and Jacksonville. It was not as bad as I thought it would be. On Thursday, I had another doctors appointment. I spent a lot of time with the OB nurse filling out paperwork, and going over brochures and books. Then I got to hear peanuts heartbeat (150 BPM). They were actually able to pick it up with the dopplar. It was such a relief to hear it. I was almost kinda sad that Justin was not there to hear it. My next appt will be shorter, so maybe he will go so he can hear it too. It was so amazing!!! The other plus, the doctor said I should start to feel a little bit better in the next couple of weeks. I can't wait for that. It has been pretty miserable the last couple of days. I just keep telling myself, it will be worth every dry heave in the end.

The view of the ocean and beach from our hotel room!

More beach and ocean. This was one of the days that it wasn't as windy.
The waves were huge all of the other days.

This one is for mom. This bald eagle was just sitting there posed waiting for someone to take his picture.

Justin relaxing by the pool with a beer. I think he has a beer cap stuck to his face above the nose of his sunglasses. (What a dork)!!!

He was absolutely beat after all of the fun of the weekend. Poor baby!!!

Goodbye Jacksonville!!!

Road Trip

We went on a road trip last Sunday to Chatanooga. It is only about an hour and a half away from where we live. We went up to Lookout Mountain. It was a lot of fun. There is a cavern that you can take a tour down inside. Way back inside the cavern is a waterfall. It was sooo cool. Then we went and rode on an incline railway. I wasn't too sure about that. It was almost kinda freaky. Someone else there refered to it as a really slow roller coaster. Any kind of roller coaster is too much for me, so that wasn't the best way to describe it. After we rode back up the mountain we went to Rock City. That was really cool. There is a trail you follow through all of these different rock structures. I was kinda glad we went now instead of later on when I am bigger, cuz I may not have been able to fit through some of those spots.....LOL. It was a lot of fun, but we were both really tired when we got home and ended up taking a late nap. I guess it worked out ok for Justin. With him working nights - he tries to stay up all night on Sunday night so he can sleep during the day Monday. It kinda sucks for me. The only night I actually get to "sleep" with my husband is Saturday nights. And even then I am usually long gone by the time he comes up to bed. Him working nights and me not working at all is making for very long days for me. He usually leaves around 8:00 at night and gets home between 9 and 10 in the morning. I get him up at about 6:00, we eat supper and he gets ready for work. I am hoping that I start getting used to this sooner rather than later.

Enjoy the pics from Chatanooga!!!
